Reflexology for Menopause
A little support through life's changes.
Perimenopause and menopause can be quite a journey, and not always one we feel particularly prepared for!
From disrupted sleep and changes in mood to hot flushes, brain fog and feeling a little unlike yourself, the experience can be different for every woman.
And while menopause is a natural stage of life, that doesn't mean it always feels easy.
What is Reflexology for Menopause?
Reflexology for Menopause is an approach to reflexology that takes into account the physical and emotional changes women may experience during perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
I've completed specialist training in Reflexology for Menopause with Sally Earlam, giving me additional knowledge of the menopause transition and how to adapt reflexology treatments to each individual's circumstances.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy that can encourage relaxation, help release tension and provide valuable time for your own wellbeing.
Although some women find reflexology a helpful addition to their self-care, it hasn't been established as a treatment for menopause symptoms or as a way to regulate hormone levels.
A treatment that's about you
There's no such thing as a typical menopause experience, and I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all treatment.
During your consultation, we'll talk about how you're feeling, any changes you're experiencing and what you're hoping to gain from reflexology.
I'll then tailor your treatment to your individual needs, drawing on my specialist training and wider clinical reflexology knowledge.
And don't worry, you don't have to arrive with a perfectly organised list of symptoms or know exactly what you need. We can work through it together.
Somewhere you can just be yourself
Sometimes it's nice to have an hour where you're not juggling everyone else's needs.
At Inner Balance, you'll find a welcoming, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly if you'd like to, or simply enjoy a bit of peace and quiet.
Whether you fancy a chat, need to get something off your chest or would rather close your eyes and switch off, that's absolutely fine.
Your appointment is your time, and I'll take my lead from you.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy and does not replace medical advice or treatment. If menopause symptoms are affecting your daily life, your GP or another qualified healthcare professional can discuss evidence-based treatment and support options with you.
